Welcome to the SAFENUT Project Website

The aim of the SAFENUT project is to enhance the characterization, preservation and utilization of the European hazelnut and almond germplasm, through the recovery and valorisation of local endangered varieties in the traditional productive areas of the Mediterranean basin.

Action 068 SAFENUT receives financial support from the European Commission, Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, under Council Regulation (EC) No 870/2004
